DPL | Policy is the lens on what a single European state decides about its own defence — national security strategies, budgets and spending laws, white papers, and the ministerial and parliamentary decisions behind them. The altitude is domestic: how a government sets its own course and funds it. Multilateral programmes sit in the NATO & EU theatre [INT], agreements between states in [DIP], and the American dimension in [ATL].
