'Build with Ukraine' Launches German–Ukrainian Joint Ventures; Auterion–Airlogix, Quantum–WIY (STRILA), Quantum–Tencore Named

The four joint-venture architecture covers the principal mission tiers of the Ukrainian combat envelope: Auterion + Airlogix produces the Anubis mid-range strike drone designed against personnel, tactical and strategic targets including armoured vehicles, and the Seth-X short-range drone for personnel and light-armour engagement; Quantum Systems + WIY Drones produces the STRILA interceptor against Shahed-class targets; Quantum Systems + Tencore covers ground systems integration. Companion commitments include 15,000 STRILA interceptor drones for Ukrainian delivery, a €4 billion German Patriot / IRIS-T financing package, UK 120,000+ drones for 2026 delivery and a Netherlands €248 million drone production commitment.

The architecture inverts the conventional arms-export pattern: Ukraine retains design authority and combat credibility while Germany, the UK, the Netherlands and the broader "Build with Ukraine" coalition provide the industrial base and the export-jurisdiction insulation. Patriot/IRIS-T contracts deliver over 1–3 years; the structural commitment is to supply-chain depth in the European industrial base rather than to short-term Ukrainian inventory relief.

Berlin Defence Week sits inside an arc that runs through the 28 April Bendlerblock roundtable, the 11 May Brave Germany framework signing in Kyiv with Pistorius and Fedorov, and the 18 May Rheinmetall–Destinus RUTA Block 3 acceleration. The structural reading is that the European-built Ukrainian-drone production architecture is now assembling at allied-prime industrial scale; the four April Berlin JVs are the first operational result of that assembly.
